1. Understanding the Commands
/me → Describes your character’s actions.
Example:
Code: Select all
/me extends his hand for a handshake.
In chat: John Doe extends his hand for a handshake.
/do → Describes environment, scene detail, or clarifies what others see.
Examples:
Code: Select all
/do The engine would still be running.
Code: Select all
/do How would the officer see John’s mood?
2. Starting Roleplay Interactions
1. Approach naturally — walk up in-game, don’t instantly force engagement.
Example:
Code: Select all
/me adjusts his uniform and nods toward the stranger.
"Good evening, sir. Need a hand?"
3. Carrying Out Interactions
• Balance actions and dialogue.
• End actions so others can respond.
Good:
Code: Select all
/me slides a form across the counter, awaiting a signature.
Poor:
Code: Select all
/me forces the man to sign the form immediately.
• Use /do to clarify or check outcomes:
Code: Select all
/do Would the door be unlocked?
Code: Select all
/do The patient would be unconscious but breathing.
4. Finishing Roleplay Interactions
1. Close naturally — exit with an action or line.
Example:
Code: Select all
/me waves before walking away toward his car.
2. Confirm with /do if needed:
Code: Select all
/do The officer would leave the scene once dismissed.
(( Gotta go, thanks for the RP! ))
5. General Tips
• Keep /me actions realistic and short.
• Avoid Powergaming (forcing actions).
• Avoid Metagaming (using OOC info IC).
• Read others’ emotes carefully before replying.
• Treat RP as collaborative storytelling.
6. Quick Examples
Handshake Scene
