Faction and Family Guidelines
These standards exist to uphold fairness, immersion, and mutual respect across all faction spaces—whether in-game, on Discord, or in forums. They are designed to protect the roleplay experience while fostering creativity, collaboration, and accountability. Please read carefully before participating.1. Respect & Conduct
- Treat all players—faction members, rivals, and staff with respect, both IC and OOC.
- No harassment, bullying, or toxic behaviour in faction chat, Discord, or in-game.
- Keep faction spaces free of drama. Handle disputes privately or through staff channels.
2. Roleplay Standards
- Avoid powergaming (forcing outcomes) and metagaming (using OOC info IC).
- Respect Fear RP—characters must realistically value their lives.
- Maintain immersion: no trolling, griefing, or random violence without RP context.
- Separate IC and OOC clearly. Don’t use OOC grudges to influence IC decisions.
3. Leadership & Structure
- Follow faction leadership during operations, events, and RP scenarios.
- Internal disputes should be resolved respectfully or escalated through proper channels.
- Undermining leadership or spreading OOC drama may result in removal.
4. Activity & Engagement
- Attend scheduled faction meetings, trainings, and RP events.
- Inactivity without notice may lead to demotion or removal.
- Members should contribute to faction storylines—not just use the faction for perks.
5. Communication & Channels
- Use faction chat and Discord channels responsibly—no spam, trolling, or off-topic flooding.
- Voice channels must remain respectful and focused during RP coordination.
- Keep usernames and tags appropriate and recognizable.
6. Common Sense Clause
- If something feels immersion-breaking, unfair, or disruptive...don’t do it.
- When unsure, ask faction leadership or staff before acting.
- Creativity is encouraged, but not at the expense of others’ RP experience.
7. Enforcement & Accountability
- Violations may result in faction warnings, suspensions, or removal.
- Severity depends on context, intent, and history.
- Appeals are available for disciplinary actions.
- Faction leaders are expected to model professionalism and fairness.
Rules and guidelines will be regularly reviewed and managed by the Factions and Families Council.
